We have carried out an inspection of your car, taken digital pictures of the damage and prepared an estimate of costs which we will send to your insurance company.
Your insurance company will approve the repair method and cost before we commence work on your booking in date. We will order any necessary parts required for the repair, however please be aware that parts delays may occur if the dealer does not have the parts in stock.
Your Customer Service Adviser will contact you prior to your booking in date to confirm that the main parts have arrived.
Whether or not you have to pay excess for your repair, depends on the type of insurance policy you have taken out. If the accident was not your fault, you can claim back any excess paid from the third party insurers, simply by contacting them yourself. Your own insurance company will advise you on your rights.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate vehicles before they are due for repair. We operate a booking-in system so that we can progress all repairs quickly and efficiently through our workshops – therefore each customer does have an allocated time slot.
The average time taken from arrival to return across all ADR sites for all types of repair is currently 10.4 days.
It depends on the terms of your policy but in most cases we are able to provide a 2 door class A vehicle (Toyota Yaris/Nissan Micra etc) in accordance with the Insurance companies instructions.
If you are not entitled to a car or require a larger car we will be able to provide one at a competitive rate. Please ask for details.
If the accident was not your fault the cost of this can normally be recovered from the third party along with your excess. It is recommended that you seek advice from your insurance company before incurring additional expense.
Customers are responsible for any damage to the courtesy car whilst in their care. This includes body trim, accident damage and punctures. You are also responsible for any mechanical damage caused through abuse.
In the event of an accident you will need to make a claim against your insurance. Any excess you have on your policy will be applied. We are able to offer a damage waiver that covers you for minor accident damage up to the value of your excess. Our service reception can give you further details.
